Panthers Set to Take on Illinois College on the Road

With 5 games under their belts, the Panthers look to take on a solid Illinois College team tomorrow at 3:00pm on the road in Jacksonville, IL. The Baseball team has played Illinois College in the past, but have yet to earn a victory. The Illinois College Blueboys contend in a competitive Midwest Conference, playing schools located in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
The Panthers hope to carry the momentum from their victory against St. Louis Christian earlier this week over into tomorrow's exciting extravaganza against the Blueboys. In order to be victorious, the team will have to play good sound baseball.
Illinois College's baseball program has been on the rise ever since former star athlete Jay Eckhouse returned to his alma mater to coach the Blueboys in 2002. Even after a disappointing season last year due to injuries, Illinois College looks to have very high hopes for the 2010 season with 10 returning seniors.
Paciorek will look to Nate Gotch to start tomorrow's game, the newest member to the Panthers' starting rotation. Gotch started against Grace College earlier this season and looks to bring his A-game tomorrow.
