The Principia women's tennis team had a devastating win over Eureka College on Tuesday, April 6 at home. The women topped Eureka with a score of 9-0. In singles, #2 Marianna Hronek and #3 Heather Libbe played tough first sets, with both women winning the first set in close tie breaks. #6 Courtney Banko won the first set quickly 6-1, but her opponent stepped up her game in the second set to challenge Courtney for a very close second set. Courtney pulled out the win by winning the second set tie break 7-6 (7-4).
The women play again on Saturday April, 10 at Blackburn in Carlinville, IL at noon.
