Greg Ball went 4 innings giving up 2 runs (1 earned run).
Luke Ball then pitched solid innings, but poor defense and mental lapses cost the Panthers the game.
The offense could not get anything going all game long. In the first five innings, the Panther offense had runners in scoring position every inning but could only muster one run. The team stranded 14 baserunners and left the bases loaded twice.
All in all it was not Principia College Baseball today.
The team looks to rebound tomorrow against St. Louis Christian at home at 6:00 p.m.
