ELSAH, ILL. -- The Principia College Baseball Team took the third and final game of the series with Blackburn to complete the sweep of the Beavers. Junior ace
Greg Ball dealt on the mound, as he has done all year long to pick up his seventh victory of the season. Greg had nine strikeouts to add to his strikeout record at Principia College.
Offensively,
Justin MacDonald and
Matt Bowman came up with the big at-bats for the Panthers. J-Mac had three quality at-bats and huge RBI. Bowman also had an RBI base hit to help secure the victory.
The team is now 15-10 (9-6 in SLIAC) and we play again on Friday against Fontbonne University.
