BLOOMINGTON, ILL. - Principia men's soccer team opened their 2011 campaign on a sour note as they were overwhelmed by the Illinois Wesleyan Titans 3-0 on Thursday nite in Bloomington, IL. The titans jumped out to an early lead captializing on a meandering ball in the box to take a 9th minute lead. Principia settled in and were able to match the titans for the rest of the half. In the second half the Panthers bounced back and seemed to perhaps be on the verge of snatching an equalizer but instead found themselves opening up defensively. As a result, a counter attack play culminated on a one vs. one situation which the attacking titan did well to mauever past freshman center back
