Westminster wins conference game against Principia

Box Score ELSAH, ILL.
Hay field house at Principia College was the sight of a conference game between the Westminster bluejays and the Principia panthers. At least on this night, the bluejays devoured the panthers by a final score of 74-54. Although the first half was closely fought, after the intermission the bluejays physically dominated the panthers and gradually built the final 20 point lead. Joe Prophet was the leading scorer for the bluejays and had several good plays at the rim, both on offense and defense. Skylar Tolsen also had a nice game for Westminster with 13 points. Seniors Colin Angle and Justin MacDonald had 16 and 13 points respectively for the panthers. Once again Principia struggled from the field shooting just 17 for 53. Westminster shot 26 for 57 from the field for the victory. Principia will next travel to Webster University this Saturday afternoon for a 3:00 pm tip-off against the gorlocks.
