Box Score ELSAH, ILL. -- Saturday afternoon the Principia Panthers battled the Eureka Red Devils in a confernce match-up. Eureka came out on top by the score of 88-55.
Matt Jones led the Panthers with 17 points from his guard position, while center Mark Lessen was high point man for Eureka with 22 points. The Panthers played hard but could not keep pace with the big, fast, and hot shooting Red Devils. Principia ended the game shooting 20-59 from inside the arc and 3-9 from beyond, while Eureka shot 33-64 from 2-point range and 13-30 from behind the arc. Principia will next travel to Westminster College on Tuesday night, January 24th, for another conference game. Tip-off will be at 8:00 pm.
