Box Score ELSAH, ILL. --On Tuesday night, the Principia Panthers hosted the MacMurray Highlanders in their second conference match-up of the year. MacMurray held on for an 84-79 win. It was an exciting contest from the outset with MacMurray using their inside strength to score while the outside shooting of Principia was the Panther's bread and butter. In the end however, the tremendous size advantage that the Highlanders had proved to be too much for the Panthers to overcome. Principia had a well balanced attacked with 5 players in double figures. They were led by
Stanley Beal's 21 and followed closely by Collin Angle's 19. Yet, Macmurray had 44 rebounds to the Panthers 30. This disadvantage for the Panthers led to many second chance points for the Highlanders and the resulting score. Principia will next host Lincoln Christian College on Thursday night, February 2nd, starting at 8:00 pm.
