Panthers fall in season-opener

Box Score ELSAH, ILL-- The Principia Panther fought hard today against the Cornell Rams but lost, 65-76. Larry Patterson showed up tonight in his first ever game for the Panthers. Patterson chipped in 22 points and junior Damon Wilgus added 20. The Panthers exhibited tough defense and sharp-shooting as they shot 40% beyond the arc. The Panthers and Rams exchanged the lead several times throughout the game but the Rams finished the second half on a run to secure the win. The Panthers play at home Tuesday night against St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Tip-off is at 8:00 pm CT.
