Box Score ELSAH, ILL. -- Saturday afternoon at Principia's Hay Field house the Principia Panthers lost to the Webster University Gorloks by the score of 92 - 58. The Gorloks were as hot as the Panthers were cold in the first 10 minutes and jumped out to a 27 point lead with a score of 31-4. After several time-outs the Panthers were able to right the ship and play the rest of the game almost even up. The Gorloks shot a blistering 65% from the field in the first half, before cooling down in the second half to end the game 52.1% from the field. Principia shot 36.7% from the field. Webster had four players in double figures, led by Ahmad Smith and Dietrick Sooter with 18 points apiece. Principia had 3 players in double figures, led by
Damon Wilgus' 29 points. Principia was out rebounded 52-26 as Webster's big men dominated the inside against the much smaller Principia team. Principia will next play at home against St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Tuesday night 8:00 pm.
