Hayley MacWilliams scored the first goal of the game with an assist from fellow Senior
Carlie Sanderude. The goal gave Principia a 1-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Spalding scored in the 57th minute and then again in the 63rd to gain the lead in the game. MacWilliams answered six minutes later. However, it was the converted penalty kick, that was awarded to Spalding in the 70th minute, that won the game.
Principia, now 2 wins and 1 loss in conference, will play Webster at 7:30 on Tuesday in St. Louis.
