Box Score Jacksonville, Ill. - Principia men's soccer shut out Macmurray College 6-0 in a conference duel in Jacksonville, IL earlier this afternoon. This was the second successive shutout for the Panthers as they dominated all phases of the game.
A gratuitous own goal by the Highlanders defender, opened the scoring for the Panthers with
John Gotwals,
Abi Carper,
Max Bruch,
Richard Bonsi and
Leif Carlson rounding out the scoring.
Gavin Thomas was a stalwart in goal saving a penalty kick early in the game while securing the shutout for the Panthers. Principia will close out the regular season finale against archrival Greenville College on Saturday at 1:00 PM in Elsah, IL.
