Box Score The Spalding Golden Eagles defeated the Principia Panthers on Thursday night 100-53. Spalding's full court pressure proved to be too much for the outmanned Panthers as Spalding turned Principia over 24 times and earned 25 more shots from the field than the Panthers. Spalding also out rebounded the Panthers 34-24 and the resulting point differential is no surprise.
Kenny Sydness once again led Principia with 25 points and 7 rebounds before fouling out with 2 minutes left in the game. The only other player for Principia in double figures was
Sean Neel with 10 points. Coach Gray for Spalding University was able to platoon his squad and all 17 of his players saw floor time. Principia will now prepare to welcome MacMurray College to Hayfield
House on Saturday for a 3:00 PM game.
