Panthers Fall to Gorloks

Box Score ST. LOUIS, MO. -- On Monday evening the Principia Panthers traveled to St. Louis for a conference matchup against cross town rival Webster University.  The Gorloks of Webster defeated the Panthers by the score of 89 -67.  Webster simply had too much fire power and were able to out score the Blue and Gold.  Damon Wilgus led Principia with 20 points, followed by Kenny Sydness with 14, and Stanley Beal with 12.  Webster's Roman Robinson led all scorers with 21 points. Although Webster dominated the first half and went into the locker room at half time with a 20 point lead, the Panthers fought with heart  and lost the second half by a mere 2 points 38-40.  Webster will now go on to the conference play offs, trying to get the SLIAC bid to the big dance. Principia will finish its season on Tuesday night as they travel to Westminster College in Fulton, Mo.  Tip off is at 8:00 pm.
