FULTON, MO. -- On Tuesday night the Principia Panthers finished their 2012-13 basketball season against Westminster College in Fulton,Mo. Principia fought hard to the very end, but came up short by the score of 85-68. Stanley Beal, Principia's lone senior finished his career with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Matt Jones had 12 points and 9 assists. Kenny Sydness had 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Damon Wilgus led all scorers with 28 points. Connor Savoye and Dorian Watkins chipped in 6 points and 2 points respectively. The game was a great all around team effort. Westminster, who also ended their regular season, finished with a conference record of 12-4 and will advance to the conference tournament beginning on Friday night in Louisville, Kentucky. The winner of the conference tournament will advance to NCAA Division III regional play.
