ELSAH, ILL. -- Fontbonne University Griffins' offense was in high gear for the three game series against the Panthers. On Friday April 26th the Panthers traveled to Shaw Park and lost the single 9 inning game 13-2. The Panthers had trouble finding the strike zone surrendering 10 walks on the afternoon.
On Monday the Panthers and Griffins met again to play the rained out double header that was scheduled for Saturday. It proved to be a long day for the Panthers. The Griffins offense exploded in the two games and ran away with both games. The Panthers competed hard, but the spread was just too much to overcome.
The Panthers are back in action Tuesday April 30th as they travel to Greenville, IL to take on the Greenville College Panthers.
