Box Score The Panthers sported a different lineup tonight with
Summer Switzer filling in on the right side for
Christine Nacewicz, and defenders
Deanna Scheck and
Hannah McCauley stepping in to fill Summer and
Molly Moser's duties.
Prin was working to be sharp defensively and to continue their progress towards a "soulful, pickup everything" defense. The team was also dedicated to boldly working on offensive connections. It was a well rounded offensive effort from PC with
Tess Rountree, Jess Bushong,
Sierra Sprague and
Lily Richards taking their fair share of swings. Tess and Sierra both hit above .400, Tess with 15 kills and Sierra with seven. Lily also chipped in seven kills, Jess Bushong three, and Summer two.
Game two was a decisive 25-11 victory for Prin, with Sierra serving 12 points, including three aces. Overall, Deanna served up two aces, and Hannah picked up six digs. Sara was a presence at the net and had a few good swings as well.
The 7-4Â volleyball team travels to Rose Hulman for a Saturday tri match, competing against Rose and Anderson University.
