Principia Men win second straight road game in 66 - 65 victory over Blackburn College

Box Score CARLINVILLE, ILL. -- After returning home from a road win against conference challenger Iowa Wesleyan, the Panthers again come home with a road win against Blackburn College. Principia is now 3-8 overall this season and 2-3 against conference opponents. Blackburn put up a great fight and had the last shot of the game to go for the win but came up short as the Panthers rebounded the miss to end the game. Larry Pattereson led all scores with 20 points. Kenny Sydness was once again the foundation for the effort with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists. No one else was in double figures for the Panthers, but 6 other teammates scored - all contributing to the victory. Next Tuesday night, 1/14, Principia will travel to Jacksonville, Il. to play conference rival MacMurray and then will finish a tough 4 game road trip with a game against Webster on Thursday night.
