Box Score ST. LOUIS, MO. -- Thursday night the Principia College men's basketball team traveled to Webster University for the third game of a three game conference road trip. Although Principia jumped out to the early lead, they were unable to hold on and Webster went into the locker room at half time with a 7 point lead 29 - 22. In the second half Principia came out shooting much better and trimmed the lead to three with just under 2 minutes remaining. The Gorloks showed why they are considered one of the top teams in the conference as they held on for the victory. Principia won the rebounding battle by one but the Gorloks won the shooting battle 53% to 40%. The Gorlocks ended by shooting 30 freethrows to Principia's 6 which unfortunately was the difference in the final score as Webster made 18 to Principia's 5. Kenny Sydnes led Principia with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Both

Larry Patterson scored 17 for Principia and Patterson did an outstanding job on the boards with 10 - a double double for the night. Principia will next host Eureka College on Saturday afternoon at 3:00.
