Principia basketball loses to a super hot Westminster College 91-73

Box Score FULTON, MO. - Thursday night the Principia Panthers traveled to Fulton, MO to play conference opponent Westminster College. They ran into Verdis Lee and Brandon Moore, Westminster's all star guards, and what a show. Lee and Moore shot 100% from two point range, 14 for 14, 55% from beyond the arc, 6 for 11, and 100% from the line, 4 for 4, for a combined total of 50 points on 25 tries. No wonder the final score was Westminster 91, Principia 73. Kenny Sydness had an excellent shooting night going 8 - 11 from the field with 8 free throws for a total of 24 points. Both Larry Patterson and Damon Wilgus contributed 15 a piece but it just wasn't enough as Westminster slowly pulled away behind the leadership of their senior guards. Principia is now 3 - 6 in conference play and will tee it up against conference rival, Greenville College, at home on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
