Box Score ELSAH, ILL. -- Fontbonne University got off to a fast start on Tuesday night against the Principia Panthers by hitting their first 6 shots, 4 of which were 3 pointers, to take an early 10 point lead. Principia cut the lead to 6 by half time but were unable to close the gap in the second half and eventually finished the game down by 11. Bryan Geare led Fontbonne, scoring 23 points on 9-12 shooting. Principia had a good team outing with
Larry Patterson scoring 19,
Justin Ball scoring 17, and
Kenny Sydness scoring 16.
Sean Neel had a nice game as well, pulling down 6 rebounds, scoring 7 points, 4 assists and a steal. Principia will now travel to Louisville, Kentucky for a conference game against Spalding University. Game time is Saturday afternoon at 3:00 (EST).
