Men's soccer Homecoming matchup ends in a barren draw

Box Score ELSAH, ILL. - Principia men's soccer faced another tough conference battle against the SLIAC's second placed team on a brisk fall afternoon in Elsah, IL. The Gorlocks came in to the contest with a 3-0 conference record and were eager to add on to their win totals.  Principia on the other hand came in search for a much needed win.  Neither team would get the maximum three points after regulation and double overtime.  McGuire Semnacher's effort in the dying minutes of the second OT was saved off the goal line before hitting the upright and bouncing back onto the field of play for another Gorlock clearance. Both teams tried to play their game but squad failed to impose their will on the other, hence the deadlock.  Principia now gets ready to take on Blackburn College in Carlinville, IL on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 pm.
