Box Score ST. LOUIS, MO. -- Tuesday evening the Panthers of Principia traveled to Fontbonne University for a conference match-up in Division III basketball. Ten minutes into the game Principia held a slim 2 point lead. That is when the Griffins of Fontbonne raised the intensity level with their full court press and transition game. Principia was not able to respond and went in at halftime down by 18. Principia came out after halftime and did a nice job competing but were unable to dig out of the hole they had fallen into in the first half. The final score was Fontbonne 78, Principia 57. Principia was led by junior point guard
Larry Patterson with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. No one else for Principia was able to reach double figures. Principia will play Blackburn College on Saturday afternoon for their last home game of the season. Tip-off for senior night will be 3:00 pm.
