Elsah, ILL-- The Principia Women's Tennis Team started their 2014 season with a split decision in the tri-match they hosted between Missouri Baptist University, Maryville and Principia. In the first match Principia, a NCAA Division III team, played against Missouri Baptist University (MBU), a NAIA Division team, and won 8-1. The Lady Panthers took the doubles and won five of the six singles. In the second match of the day Maryville, a NCAA Division II team, swept all of their matches against MBU. In the final match of the day Maryville won all of the matches against Principia. Principia match scores are below.
The next contest for Principia is a February 21 at DePauw University for matches against DePauw, ranked #8 Nationally in Division III, and Ohio Wesleyan.
