Box Score 2 GREENVILLE, ILL. -- GAME – 1 GREENVILLE – 15 PRINCIPIA – 8A disappointing start to this game was the difference between a win and a loss. Principia came out flat and gave up 9 runs in the first inning. You have to give them credit though as they regrouped and started battling away. They put up 8 runs over the rest of the game as their offense started to show itself again. Without the first inning this was an 8-6 win so all in all a nice comeback.
Jessy MacMullin had a 2 hit game and scored a run.

Ashley Shoemake all got hits and all scored a run or two. Casey's hit was a double. And yes,
Kelsey Whitney got hit by another pitch in this game!
GAME – 2 GREENVILLE – 22 PRINCIPIA – 6The start to this game was a repeat of game 1 where the team gave up 9 runs in the first inning. Greenville is a very good hitting team but it was extraordinary just how many balls they hit that found holes. Just one of those days where it seemed like everything they hit was in a gap. Playing while the snow was falling in freezing weather isn't what one would expect at this time of year!
The offense continued its revival and pounded out 11 hits of their own.

Kelsey Whitney each had 3 hits and Casey scored 3 runs while Kelsey scored a run and had 2 RBI's.
Christine Nacewicz was 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI.
Thanda Kyaw, Jessy MacMullin and
Ashley Shoemake each contributed a hit in this game and Jessy's hit was a triple and she drove in 2 runs.
