Box Score ELSAH, ILL. -- There's nothing like playing in front of the best fans EVER! A big thank you to the faculty, staff, and students who showed up to light up Hay Fieldhouse with positive energy and support! The volleyball team showed their gratitude by winning in three straight games!
Prin started out strong with three points in a row from
Cha Cha Fisher's serving. The team knew their goals for the night and stayed true to them. Prin was looking to be consistent with their ball control, and to be scrappy on defense, while mixing it up offensively. The Panthers have been working to be bolder at the service line, and the women showed marked improvement tonight.
Everyone got court time tonight, and there were highlights all around. Zoe Mahler subbed in and had a beautiful hit down the line for a kill. An ace from
Deanna Scheck, a great blocking presence from
Sara Stephenson, some on target digs from
Hannah McCauley, and
Emma Herman passed a solid 2.5.
Tess Rountree led the offense with 14 kills,
Lily Richards added five hitting a night best .500.Â
Sierra Sprague contributed four kills,
Summer Switzer three,
Molly Moser two, and Savanna and Zoe each with one. Sierra and
Savanna Sprague led the backcourt with five digs a piece, and Sierra and Tess each added three service aces to the outing.
