Box Score The Principia Panthers played their first game back after Christmass break on Saturday afternoon against Spalding University from Louisville, Kentucky. The final score was Spalding 82, Principia 56. Spalding just returned from playing in the Hope tournament on Wednesday night and was firing on all cylinders. Principia clearly had a little rust after a three week lay-off for Christmas, but still did some good things. Freshman
Parker Davidson once again scored a double-double with 12 rebounds and 13 points. Senior
Larry Patterson led the Panthers with 20 points and 4 assists. Sophomore
Justin Ball had 16 points. Turnovers (20) and missed freethrows (11-23) spelled the doom for the Panthers. As the team gets their game legs under them we can expect some strong results. Principia will next host Westminster University on Tuesday night. Tip-off will be 8:00 pm in Hay Fieldhouse.
