Box Score Elsah, ILL. -- After the exciting overtime win on Tuesday, the Principia men's soccer team dropped a rough game tonight, losing 6-0 to the number one team in conference, Westminster College.
The Blue Jays came out guns blazing. Right from the get go Westminster applied intense pressure finishing their first goal in 3 minutes. They did not let up, and going into halftime the score was 3-0.
There were moments of good play from the Panthers, but nothing sustainable and Westminster capitalized on the opportunities. Their quick and fast paced style outworked Principia and took the game with them. Kaylin Hernandez-Beiner had 15 saves on the night. Principia needed to bring it's best effort tonight and unfortunately that did not happen.
Principia hosts a non-conference matchup against Washington University at 7:30pm on Tuesday.
