Volleyball victorious over Eureka

Box Score Elsah, ILL. -- The volleyball team beat Eureka in three straight sets to earn the season sweep over the Red Devils. Principia started out pounding tough serves and Eureka had a hard time finding any offense. Sierra Sprague served 5 in a row to put the Panthers in a 6-2 lead. Noelle Shoemake led the offense in game one with 3 kills. The Panthers remained dominate in game two winning 25-9. Sophia put down three kills in game two, as well as three service aces. An uncharacteristic six service errors and 7 hitting errors in game three opened the door for Eureka to find their rhythm and score some points. The Panthers sharpened up just in time to win game three 26-24.  Emily Tippetts hit .571 tonight with 8 kills, 0 errors on 14 swings. Emily added 3 solo blocks as well. Molly Moser added 5 kills with only 1 error.

The Panthers are on the road against MacMurray this Saturday, and finish their season Tuesday November 3rd right here in Hay Field house. We will be celebrating senior night for Deanna Scheck, Sierra Sprague and Molly Moser at 7pm before the game begins.
