Box Score ELSAH, ILL. - On Tuesday night the Beavers of Blackburn College traveled to Elsah, IL to play the Panthers of Principia College. The game swung back and forth with neither team able to mount a decisive run. The largest lead of the night by either team was six points. Blackburn entered the half time locker room with a two point lead, 31-29. Led by
Jeff Ross, the Panthers battled back in the second half to take a four point lead with 1:42 left on the clock. Three final free throws by junior guard
Joey Sander sealed the game with the Panthers coming out on top 68-61. For the Panthers,
Jeff Ross had 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals;
Parker Davidson had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 steals;

Justin Ball had 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. Junior guard
Larry Patterson once again had a strong game as floor general, ending with 2 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block, and 3 steals. Principia's next opponent is Spalding University, in Louisville, KY, on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 pm EST.
