Box Score Louisville, Ky. - The Principia Panthers came up 1 shot short on Saturday against the Golden Eagles of Spalding University. Principia shot 23-49 frrom the field, while the Golden Eagles shot 24-51 for a three point victory. The game was tight all day long with Spalding taking its largest lead with a 9 point difference at the 8:42 mark in the second half. It was all Principia after that with the Panthers battling back to climb within three points with 42 seconds left in the game. Principia had the ball but was unable to score as time expired. For Principia, Justin Ball played a nice all around game scoring 18 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, dishing out 4 assists, and blocking 3 shots. Parker Davidson chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds, and an assist. Principia will next host Greenville College Tuesday night at 8:00 pm.
