Box Score ST. LOUIS, MO. - Saturday afternoon the Principia College Panthers traveled to St. Louis, MO to play the Fontbonne University Griffins in a SLIAC conference basketball match-up. The speed and depth of the Griffins proved to be too much for the Panthers as Fontbonne pulled away in the second half for an 80-55 victory. Fontbonne won almost every statistical category, coming out ahead in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and turnovers. Principia's 21 turnovers led to Fontbonne getting 26 more shots from the field and a 25 point spread at games end. Principia's high scorer was

Steven Hammond was a pleasant surprise for the Panthers, going 5-6 from the field with a free throw for 11 points. Principia's next game will be against Blackburn College on Tuesday night at home. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 pm.
