Box Score Decatur, IL. -- Principia women's soccer fell to Millikin with a score of 4-1. The game was fairly even for the first 25 mins of the game with each team having a shot that hit the woodwork. Millikin scored twice in a span of five mins and carried their momentum into half time.
Principia started off strong in the second half with a freshman
Madison Arens scoring a goal in the first minute. The following 15 mins Principia keeper Millikin pinned in their own half and looked liked they would find a second goal creating several great chances. However, Milikin earned a corner that they converted into a goal. Millikin's fourth goal was scored just minuets later. Principia worked hard to get their feet back under them and finished the game strong.
Principia will next compete this Saturday at The University of Chicago at 12:00 pm.
