Box Score Elsah, IllThe Principia Panthers began the second half of their SLIAC Conference schedule today against the Eureka College Red Devils. Eureka came out on fire, lighting up the Panthers from the behind the arc. The Panthers would try to claw their way back into the game late in the second half. However, in the end, it was too little too late as Principia fell 101-80.
Principia fell behind by 27 in the first half, with the lead even reaching a high of 31 with 17:50 left in the second half. Principia was finally able to get some things working on offense as they cut the lead to 16 on a
Kaylin Hernandez Beiner three pointer with 6:17 left. However, the lead stayed around this mark for the rest of the game, as Eureka came away with the 101-80 victory.
Adaku Anumu again led the Panthers with 34 points.
Parker Davidson finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Kaylin Hernandez Beiner and
Justin Ball rounded out the double digit scorers for Principia with 12 and 11 points respectively.
