Box Score Terre Haute, IN. -- In their opening game of the season, the Principia Men's Soccer Team travelled to Terre Haute, Indiana to take on the Rose Hulman Engineers.
The first half was dominated in the scoring by Rose Hulman, as Principia's possession, although the majority, was not able to break through the back line with success.
The second half however, was a much different story. Principia dominated possession, played in their strengths and created chances. One great opportunity came on a corner kick with a foul that resulted in a penalty kick. The Rose Hulman keeper read the ball and made the save though, deflating Principia briefly.
A hard fought game with several yellow cards handed out throughout the game, the game shows promise for the future of Principia's men's team. They are a unified group of men who are looking to make their mark. Stay tuned.
