Box Score ELSAH, IL-- The men's soccer team hosted their final non-conference match up before conference play begins against an undefeated Millikin. Coming out firing on all cylinders, the Panthers had their best 45 minutes of the season in the first half. An unfortunate own goal and the inability to finish on their own chances put Principia down at halftime 0-1.Â
The second half was a bit less of the quality that Principia was used to playing. Again, great chances including some huge saves that the offense forced the Millikin keeper to make, even into the waning minutes of play. But a free kick opportunity for Millikin created a second goal for them, finishing the scoring at 0-2.
The Panthers travel to Fulton, Missouri to take on SLIAC defending champion Westminster College on Saturday at 7pm.
