Men's Soccer loses to top ranked Westminster College

Box Score Fulton, MO. --  Principia College Men's Soccer loses conference opener to #1 SLIAC ranked Westminster College with a score of 1-5.

Westminster College won the SLIAC title last year by a landslide only allowing one goal in conference play.  Freshman Carson Hussey broke the possible shutout tonight when he scored the lone Principia goal off a pass from junior Briggs Hurley.  Coach Semnacher was disappointed with the scoreline, but felt his side played tough.  After the game, he commented "we were not as sharp or as fast as they [Westminster] were tonight.  I am confident we will close the gap over the next month.  We have a lot of quality and great team spirit -we're just young.  We will find a way to win in the coming weeks".

The Panthers play their next game away at Greenville College next Saturday.
