Box Score Elsah, ILL. -- Number six ranked Principia took on #2 ranked Greenville, and sprinted out of the gate earning a 20-13 lead over Greenville. Principia was serving tough and Greenville was struggling with ball control, and that gave Principia an open door to score! However, Greenville started to tighten things up and grabbed the reins of the game leading to a steady and decisive comeback to take game one right out of Principia's paws. Greenville never relinquished the control of the match again. Principia's defense progressed through the night, picking up more Greenville hits and stopping a few at the net. Greenville served tough, putting the pressure on Principia and forcing an uncharacteristic 8 reception errors.
Emily Tippetts put down a match high (for both teams) 12 kills and
