Eureka, ILL. -- Principia Men's Soccer played Eureka College for their 4th Conference game of the season. Eureka and Principia sit at opposite ends of the table for conference standings. Principia hasn't lost in conference while Eureka has not won. Principia dominated the game early and often as Kaleb Keller scored the first goal of the game just 4 minutes in. He went on to score a hat trick with goals in the 21st and 35thminutes. Kaden Keller got his first goal of the season in the 37th minute of the game to give the Panther's a 4-0 lead heading into a half and ultimately the game.
Principia used its entire bench as several players got significant minutes in the second half, some playing newer positions. The Panthers continued to dominate possession as they created many chances in the second half, but were not able to finish in the final third. With the win today Principia improves to 4-0 in conference and plays a pivotal game Saturday for Homecoming versus Iowa Wesleyan.
Good to Know:
Principia had total control of the game from start to finish. It was a completely lopsided match as Principia outshot Eureka 50-2.
