Box Score 2 Clayton, MO. - The Panthers traveled to Shaw Park to take on the Fontbonne Griffins this evening.
Alex Stamos received the nod game one.
Jake Kearney started game two for the Panthers. Fontbonne has the top offense in the SLIAC and showed it tonight. The Panthers hung around but ultimately fell in both games.
Jeff Ross sparked the Panthers in game one, leading the way with a double and a single to go along with two RBI.
Ed Bargmann picked up two hits in the second game. The Panthers tallied five hits in game one and six in game two. They lost game one. 19-5 and lost game two, 17-3.
The Panthers look to finish their season on a better note as they will be traveling to Louisville, KY, to play their final three games against Spalding Golden Eagles this weekend. The Golden Eagles are the top team in the conference and the Panthers are excited for the challenge.
