Louisville, KY. - The Panthers traveled to Louisville to take on the top-ranked Spalding Golden Eagles this evening. The Golden Eagles jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Panthers lost 17-0.
The Panthers only collected three hits in the game.
Ed Bargmann contributed two of those hits and
Connor Coyne had the other base knock. Senior
John Challenger raised his on-base percentage this evening after being hit by the first pitch he saw in the final inning. Freshman
Nathan Wood pitched well in relief, tossing 1.1 innings of hitless ball.
The Panthers will look to conclude their season on a positive note tomorrow. They play their final two games of the 2017 season against Spalding tomorrow beginning at 1:00 p.m. EST.
