Burlington, IA. -- Principia Men's Soccer battled to beat Iowa Wesleyan 3-0 on the road. The Panthers came out ready to meet the Tigers in an intense match and close conference match-up. Both team's defenses found ways to neutralize the other team throughout the game. Despite the Tigers outshooting the Panthers 14-11 the Panthers strikes proved to be more lethal.
Kaleb Keller's game winning goal was on a PK that was earned by freshman
Cole Heinbaugh who was taken down in the box in the 36
th minute. Freshman
EG Pierce scored an insurance goal late in the second half in the 79
yh minute off a corner kick from a Keller service. Two minutes later, Keller scored a third goal from a through ball from
Kaden Keller to seal the game. David McLeod-Warrick had two saves and is credited with a shutout.
