Fulton, MO. -- Principia Men's Soccer earned a crucial win against Westminster College under the lights at Judith Mueller Stadium on Tuesday night. The Panthers improved their SLIAC record to 4-3 to remain in contention for a playoff spot.
The Blue Jays scored first, in the 24
th minute, but it didn't take long for Principia to respond. In the 27

Jack Rogers found the back of the net, assisted by
Kaleb Keller. Less than a minute later, Kaleb scored a goal of his own, assisted by his brother, Kaden. E.G. Pierce scored on a corner in the 72

Principia outshot the Blue Jays, tallying ten shots to Westminster's eight. David McLeod-Warrick had a very good second half with four saves. Principia had 13 corner kicks in the match.
Kaleb Keller has now scored in five consecutive matches, with a total of 15 goals this season (3
rd in SLIAC). His point total (36) is currently second in the conference.
The Principia Men have two big matches to finish the regular season; Saturday 10/27 against MacMurray at 3PM, and Monday 10/29 against Webster at 5PM. They need to win both to secure a spot in the conference tournament. The win on Tuesday night was a big step toward that goal and the Panthers will carry the momentum into their final week of the regular season.
