Principia's beach volleyball team now has two new beautiful sand volleyball courts (4 total), and today we were able to enjoy them with our home-opener vs Missourii Baptist. What an amazing facility!

We met Missouri Baptist a couple of weeks ago in Texas, and Principia scored 160 points in the match. Two weeks ago Principia had a super hard time handling MBU's serves and the rallies were short and fell heavily in favor of MBU. Today, the Panthers showed marked improvement in that 1st touch. Principia passed the ball much better, and was able to keep the rallies going with tenacious defense from the whole squad. Today Principia score 235 points against Missouri Baptist - that's 75 more points than 2 weeks ago! MBU is still in the driver's seat, but Principia is working hard and progressing every day.

Cha Cha Fisher and Devon Marunde took the MBU 1s to three games losing 14-16 in the deciding game. So much good serving, offense and competitive attitude - nice work!

Libby Lewis and Anna Webster took the MBU 7s to three games as well - also losing 14-16 in the deciding game.  

Coach Sprague shared, "I can see the IQ growing every day, and it is exciting to see the women owning their game and spending extra time working on their problem areas - the progress is exciting."
