Principia completes a 2 match sweep of Blackburn

In our conference match the Principia women's team won two of the three doubles matches. It was a very windy day in Carlinville and the women's team had a tough time adjusting. At first doubles, Hallie Jones and Olivia Kasprzyk, lost in a hard fought windy match 8-6. At #2 doubles Gracie Buchanan teamed with Dani Lomascolo for the first time this season and they won 8-0. Principia's #3 doubles, Sarah Switzer and Amber Heady, cinched their win 8-3 The women secured the win with wins at 5 of the 6 singles matches. The team plays again on Saturday against Fontbonne. It will be at home at noon. It is senior day and the team will be honoring three seniors, Gracie Buchanan, Olivia Kasprzyk, and Belle Abbott. Come out and support the team!
