Elsah, ILL-- Principia College continued their conference battles by hosting Greenville College in a midweek night game.

The two Panthers battled back and forth. While Greenville had the run of play, the game went to both ends of the field. Principia found the back of the net first on a fight in the box that led to a handball and pk. Georgia Rather finished the pk putting Principia on top. Not too long after, Greenville found their equalizer. The game went into halftime 1-1.

Both teams came out fighting in the second half with aggressive play and intensity. Greenville however, found the way to score two times and when the final whistle blew, the Greenville Panthers were up 3-1.

The back 5, Tara Adhikari, Kiona Sperr, Yana Wood, Taylan Hayes, and Brittany Ouellette all had quality games fighting hard and winning the ball frequently.

Women play again in their homecoming match against Iowa Wesleyan this Saturday at 1pm.
