Elsah, IL - The Panthers got off to a slow start as the Gorloks scored two quick goals in the first five minutes of the game. Just before halftime, Principia found their footing and gave the Gorloks some problems. The Panthers worked hard and showed great composure and patience on the ball. The Panthers kept Webster scoreless in the second half, as they scored all of their goals in the first half. It was a hard-fought battle, but the Panthers struggled to get a goal of their own. It was indeed a team effort today, and the coaches were proud of the action.
Before today's match, we acknowledged our three seniors Kiona Sperr, Sophie Hills, and Edner Oloo. Each of these student-athletes has given so much to the women's soccer program. They each played their hearts out.
