St.louis, MO. - Principia men's soccer team traveled to St. Louis, MO. to play the #1 team in the SLIAC conference, Webster University, where they lost 0-7.
This game was a defensively played game with only five shots to Websters thirty-six. Dennis Maguigue continues to be a strong player and skilled with his excellent combinations. Seth Arens could lock down the defensive line, making it hard for the offense to penetrate. Emiliano Gonzalez held a clean sheet for the last 20 minutes of the game with four fantastic saves.
After the game, Coach Semnacher said, "although it was a tough loss, I was happy that the men had each other's back throughout the whole game. It was frustrating to lose, but this game gave us a lot to learn as a team and individually. "
