Elsah, IL – The Principia Thunder Chickens will play their first game in the Division 2 National Championship Tournament on Friday, November 19
th at 12:00 pm CST with a Round of 16 match against the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The game will be played at the Emerson Central Fields in Forest Park in St. Louis, MO. Principia and Duluth have a competitive history in 7s, with Duluth leading the series 4-3. Principia has beaten Duluth in the championship game of two tournaments but lost to Duluth twice at nationals. Principia will be captained by freshman scrumhalf

After the Principia-Duluth game, Thomas More University and Marquette University will play at 2:00 pm. This game will also be live streamed at the link above. The two losing teams will play a consolation game in Forest Park on Saturday, November 20
th at 10:00 am, and the two winners will play a quarterfinals game in Forest Park at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 21
st. If Principia makes it to the Sunday quarterfinals, that game will be live streamed as well. The regional winner will then play a semifinal game against the Midwest region winner in Houston, TX, on December 10
th, with the winner of that game playing in the finals on December 12
th
