St. Louis, MO. - The women's tennis team traveled to Webster University where they had a full day of matches. Most of the team ended up winning a game or two.
Emma Hanser played two singles matches that both went to the third set. She split her match results with a win in the morning and a narrow loss in the afternoon.
Veronica Volkart was 1-1 in her singles matches, pulling off a third set win in her second singles match. She was also 1-1 in her doubles match play with partner
Ruth Hummell. Hummell also split her matches, winning the morning match but falling short in the afternoon.

Emma Franklin did well for their first time playing together as a team.
Coach Carney said, "it was a great way to wrap up the end of our short non-traditional season, putting our practicing to the test. From the matches today, we learned a lot about our preparation for the spring season and expect to play more consistent tennis mixed in with controlled aggression in constructing tennis points."
